I really enjoyed my stay, especially the lovely meals we shared in the restaurant and the cozy vibe of the outdoor sitting area. It was nice to kick back with a hot drink and some great cake while chatting with friends in the lounge. One minor hiccup was the lighting in the room, which made things a bit tricky when getting ready, but overall, I had a fantastic time! 😊

I recently enjoyed my time at Dumfries in Cumnock. The room I stayed in was clean and modern, which made for a pleasant arrival. The staff were friendly and always ready to help, making me feel welcomed from the moment I walked in. Dinner was delicious, especially the Thai green curry I had, and breakfast was equally impressive with a variety of options. the shower pressure could definitely use some improvement. it felt a bit lacking. I also noticed some noise from outside in the morning, which was a bit disruptive. There were issues with the housekeeping. I asked for air freshener due to a lingering petrol smell and it never arrived. The furnishings seemed worn in certain areas, especially the bedside tables. it was a delightful stay but there are definitely some areas to improve on.

Had a great two-night stay! The breakfast was truly delightful with a fantastic selection, and the dinner prior to the wedding was excellent—everything was cooked to perfection. we did find the room style differed from the hotel's photos, but it was still spacious and had lovely toiletries. I'd definitely choose this place again!

great access to parks and museums in cumnock
I recently spent a night in a lovely standard double room and found it just a few steps from both The Baird Institute Museum and Castle William, which made walking around town super enjoyable, especially in the nearby parks like Holmhead. while the breakfast was delicious and the dining options nearby were a real treat, it would have been nice to have a roast beef dinner, which we were told wasn’t available.

Great stay with friendly vibes
Had a lovely time at this beautiful hotel! The room was spacious and nicely decorated. The bar area was cozy for winding down. My breakfast was delish, but the shower had a bit of a cosmetic issue. Staff were super welcoming, although I wish there were more breakfast options like fruit. it was a solid choice!

Had a blast with my friends! We enjoyed a fantastic dinner on Robert Burns night and a lovely breakfast which was good, but the service could've been better. The area is stunning with great golf courses and the Burns National Heritage Trail nearby. Wi-Fi was handy as well. Plus, we had some awesome entertainment from a live band!
Our stay was slightly affected by noise from a loud party below our room. It was hard to relax when the floor was vibrating from the music. I reported the issue, but it didn't help much. I'd advise asking for a room away from the function hall.
